A Description of Multivex Custom Wide Angle Mirrors
Wide angles increase visibility. On the driver's side, our mirrors are relatively flat on the area closest to the driver. Curvature gradually increases to the outside edge. Angles of sight are increased from about 12 to 15 degrees on a standard mirror to as much as 40 degrees. This is about a 200 to 300 percent increase in field of view. On the passenger's side, our mirrors improve image sizes and distance judgment by making the inner half more flat than standard mirrors. The outer half increases curvature to expand field of view by up to 40 percent over standard mirrors.
